Measuring Instructions

Please make sure you provide us with your correct measurements by carefully following these instructions. Hold the tape from the right side and make sure not to measure too tight. We will add 3 cm on top of your measurements to allow for ease.

1. Bust:
Start with putting on a bra you would intend to wear with the dress you are about to order. Measure around the fullest part of your bust and around your shoulder blades. Allow one finger width to pass under the tape and be careful to not hold the tape too tight. Measure all the way around passing the tape under your arms.

2. Waist:
Place the tape around the smallest part of your stomach (not always where your belly button is). Try to relax and not tense your stomach in, breathe out when measuring. Hold the tape loosely and allow 1 finger width between your stomach and the tape. Everyone has different waist dimensions and yours could be higher or lower compared to others so please take care when measuring to get the best fitted clothes.

3. Hips:
Measure around the fullest part of your hip, which can be 15 to 25 cm between your natural waist and hips. Do not hold the tape too tight and allow one finger between your skin and the tape. Our standard measurement is 20cm from waist to hip so if you are more than 3 shorter or lower - please enter this measurement in the "hip to waist" box.

4. Back
Body Length / Nape to Waist (OPTIONAL)

Our standard body length is 40cm from your Nape to your natural waist. If you feel you have a longer or shorter body/torso then add this measurement in the "back dimensions" box.
Finding your nape: Tilt your head forward and put your chin on your chest, feel your neck-bone at the top of your spine, the one that protrudes a little more than the others. It's usually sits a little higher than the line of your shoulders; this is the nape of your neck.

5. Skirt Length:
This measurement is the waist to desired length of the dress or skirt you want to have made.
Measure from your natural waist down to where you want your hem to end. Stand straight and don't bend over to measure. Try and get someone to help with this measurement.

Once you have all you measurements you are now ready to make your own dress!
